Become less controlling

“Controlling” means trying too hard to make people do what you want, or feeling like you have to control everything around you. It’s when you get upset or worried if things don’t go exactly as you planned.

Being controlling can be really stressful, for both the person trying to control and the people being controlled. It’s frustrating because even though you can sometimes influence others, you can’t make them do exactly what you want all the time.

The problem with being controlling is that you don’t let people be themselves. You want them to be how you imagine them to be, not who they really are. But everyone is different, and that’s okay!

To stop being so controlling, you have to understand that it’s okay for people to have their own opinions and ways of doing things. When you accept that people see the world differently, you’ll feel a lot happier inside.

And guess what? When you stop being controlling, people will like being around you more. Nobody likes to be told what to do all the time. It can make them feel annoyed or upset. But when you give people space to be themselves, they’ll respect and admire you even more.
