Become less reactive and more responsive

Let’s talk about two ways we can think and act: reactive and responsive. When we’re reactive, things feel stressful. We get upset easily, judge quickly, and take things personally. It’s like being in a bad mood all the time.

When we’re reactive, we make decisions too fast and often regret them later. We might annoy others and not even realize it. And when good things come our way, we might miss them because we’re too busy feeling grumpy.
