Once, a wealthy man asked his priest why people called him stingy, even though he planned to leave everything to the temple after he died.

The priest shared a story:

There was a pig and a cow in a village. The cow was adored by everyone for providing milk, butter, and cheese every day. But the pig felt puzzled because, despite giving sausages, bacon, and ham (its entire body), it wasn’t liked by anyone.

“Why is that?” the pig asked the cow.

The cow replied, “Maybe it’s because I give while I’m still alive.”

So, the lesson is, it’s not just about giving after we’re gone. It’s about sharing and helping others while we’re still here.
