Never talk behind someone’s back!
Talking bad about someone when they’re not around is called backstabbing, and it’s a really mean thing to do. It makes you look bad, not the person you’re talking about. Imagine if someone talked about you behind your back – you wouldn’t like it, right?
People who backstab often pretend to be nice to others’ faces but say mean things when they’re not around. That’s not fair or kind at all.
Backstabbing also makes you feel bad inside. It’s like eating something yucky – it leaves a bad taste in your mouth. When I’ve backstabbed before, I felt really guilty afterward.
Plus, if you backstab, people won’t trust you. They’ll think, “If they talk bad about others, they might talk bad about me too.” So, it’s better to be kind and keep your words nice, even when someone isn’t around.
