Stopping to Blame Something or Someone

When we don’t like how something is happening or someone is doing something, and we get upset about it, that’s called being angry.

But when we don’t like how something is happening or someone is doing something, and we’re okay with it, that’s called being tolerant.

When someone has something we don’t have or can do something we can’t, and we feel upset about it, that’s called being jealous.

But when someone has something we don’t have or can do something we can’t, and we’re okay with it, that’s called being inspired.

It’s like a simple math problem: Something plus Acceptance equals Feeling Good. Something plus Non-Acceptance equals Feeling Bad.

So, it’s not the thing or the person that’s making us feel good or bad. It’s whether we accept or don’t accept it that makes us feel good or bad.

When we feel upset, instead of blaming something or someone, we can look at what we’re not accepting and try to accept it. When we do that, the bad feeling can turn into a good one.

Managing our feelings starts with not blaming things or people and learning to accept life as it comes.
